Her work has been featured in Oscar® and Tony® winning productions and recorded by #1- selling and multi-platinum artists worldwide, including BARBRA STREISAND, KATHARINE MCPHEE, ALABAMA, RBD, PATTI LUPONE, AVALON, DIAMOND RIO, BRIAN MCKNIGHT and ELLIOT YAMIN.

Film credits include opening or end title songs for "AQUAMARINE", "SWEET HOME ALABAMA", "WHEN WE WERE KINGS" and "HAPPY HOUR".

A graduate of Harvard Law School and Columbia Business School, Powers practiced law at White and Case before embarking on her writing career. She lives in L.A. with her husband, film Producer J. Todd Harris, and their two sons, Jasper and Cole.
